The role
You will work at the point where computation meets biology — analysing complex datasets to shape which targets and molecules we pursue.
What you will do
- Analyse genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic and single-cell datasets
- Develop analysis pipelines and reusable methods
- Work directly with discovery teams to design analyses that answer real questions
- Integrate public and internal data to build evidence for targets
- Communicate results to biologists in biological terms
What success looks like at 12 months
Your analyses are informing target decisions, at least one pipeline you built is used by others, and biologists come to you at design stage rather than after the experiment.
What we require
- Advanced degree in computational biology, bioinformatics or a quantitative field
- Strong Python or R and comfort in a Unix environment
- Experience with high-dimensional biological data
- Ability to read the underlying assay, not just the matrix
What we would like, but will teach you
- Single-cell or spatial analysis experience
- Cloud compute environments
- Publication record in computational biology
If you meet the required list, apply. We cap the preferred list at four items on purpose, and we would rather read an application from someone who is 70% there and hungry.
Hybrid — onsite at Cambridge, MA three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and one team-chosen day).
