The role
You will own the statistics for studies that decide whether a medicine moves forward — design, analysis plan, interpretation, and the honest conversation about what the data supports.
What you will do
- Contribute statistical input to protocol design, sample size and endpoint selection
- Author statistical analysis plans and oversee their execution
- Perform and review analyses, and interpret results for the study team
- Support regulatory submissions and respond to agency questions
- Partner with programming and data management on data quality and standards
What success looks like at 12 months
You are the statistical voice the study team actually listens to, your analysis plans need no late amendments, and a regulator's question has been answered on your work without a rewrite.
What we require
- MSc or PhD in statistics, biostatistics or a closely related field
- Experience supporting clinical trials in industry or academia
- Strong SAS and/or R skills
- Ability to explain a statistical argument to people who are not statisticians
What we would like, but will teach you
- Adaptive or Bayesian design experience
- Regulatory interaction experience
- Experience in oncology or rare disease endpoints
If you meet the required list, apply. We cap the preferred list at four items on purpose, and we would rather read an application from someone who is 70% there and hungry.
