The role
You will lead a quality team and own quality outcomes for your area — including the unpopular calls.
What you will do
- Lead a quality team including hiring, development and performance
- Own quality decisions and escalations for your area
- Drive improvement in deviation, CAPA and right-first-time metrics
- Represent quality in site leadership and in regulatory inspections
- Build constructive challenge into how the site operates
What success looks like at 12 months
Quality metrics for your area are improving, your team is developing, and difficult decisions are being made at the right level rather than escalated.
What we require
- Significant quality experience in GMP manufacturing including people leadership
- Sound, defensible judgement on product impact decisions
- Experience in regulatory inspections
- Credibility with both operators and executives
What we would like, but will teach you
- Sterile or biologics quality leadership
- Inspection front-room experience
- Experience building a quality culture rather than policing one

Onsite at Bloomington, IN. Site-based office roles are onsite three days a week; lab, plant and quality roles are onsite by nature.
Pay and rewards
This role sits at grade 9, with a base range of $120,500 – $155,500 for this location, plus annual bonus, retirement contributions of up to 9%, and day-one benefits. See the full package.
