The role
You will lead a manufacturing shift — the crew, the schedule, the escalations, and the standard. This is a role a lot of our former senior NCOs move into and do exceptionally well.
What you will do
- Lead a shift crew, including scheduling, development and performance
- Own execution of the shift's manufacturing plan and handover quality
- Make real-time decisions on escalations and deviations
- Drive safety and quality standards on the floor, visibly
- Partner with engineering, quality and planning on issues and improvements
What success looks like at 12 months
Your shift meets plan and handover is genuinely useful, your crew's qualification and retention are strong, and you are developing at least one person towards your job.
What we require
- Experience leading teams in an operational, procedural environment
- Understanding of GMP manufacturing, or demonstrated ability to learn a regulated environment fast
- Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift including nights
- Sound judgement under time pressure with incomplete information
What we would like, but will teach you
- GMP or biologics manufacturing background
- Military senior NCO or officer leadership experience
- Experience introducing a process improvement that stuck

Onsite at Devens, MA on a 12-hour rotating shift, typically 3-on/4-off alternating with 4-on/3-off, days and nights. Shift differentials of 12–20% apply on top of base.
Pay and rewards
This role sits at grade 8, with a base range of $114,500 – $148,000 for this location, plus annual bonus, retirement contributions of up to 9%, and day-one benefits. See the full package.
