The role
You will run a manufacturing area — multiple shifts, the plan, the people and the outcomes.
What you will do
- Own manufacturing performance for your area across all shifts
- Lead supervisors and build the leadership bench beneath them
- Drive right-first-time, deviation reduction and schedule adherence
- Own area budget, headcount and capital requests
- Represent the area in site leadership, investigations and inspections
What success looks like at 12 months
Your area is meeting schedule and quality targets, supervisors are being promoted out of your team, and deviations are trending down for reasons you can explain.
What we require
- Significant manufacturing leadership experience in a regulated environment
- Track record of improving operational metrics, not just holding them
- Experience leading leaders
- Credibility on the floor as well as in the meeting
What we would like, but will teach you
- Biologics or sterile manufacturing experience
- Inspection front-room experience
- Lean or operational excellence qualification

Onsite at Bloomington, IN. Site-based office roles are onsite three days a week; lab, plant and quality roles are onsite by nature.
Pay and rewards
This role sits at grade 10, with a base range of $144,500 – $187,000 for this location, plus annual bonus, retirement contributions of up to 9%, and day-one benefits. See the full package.
