The role
You will assess and control exposure — the technical side of occupational health in a plant handling potent and biological materials.
What you will do
- Conduct exposure assessments and industrial hygiene monitoring
- Define and verify engineering controls and PPE requirements
- Support containment strategy for potent and biological materials
- Maintain occupational health programmes with our provider
- Investigate exposure incidents and drive control improvements
What success looks like at 12 months
Exposure assessments are current across the site, controls are verified rather than assumed, and operators understand why their controls exist.
What we require
- Industrial hygiene experience or a related technical background
- Understanding of exposure assessment methodology
- Comfort with data, sampling and statistics
- Onsite role in operating areas
What we would like, but will teach you
- CIH certification or progress toward it
- Biosafety experience
- Military bioenvironmental engineering background

Onsite at Bloomington, IN. Site-based office roles are onsite three days a week; lab, plant and quality roles are onsite by nature.
Pay and rewards
This role sits at grade 8, with a base range of $100,500 – $129,500 for this location, plus annual bonus, retirement contributions of up to 9%, and day-one benefits. See the full package.
