The role
You will partner with a site or function on everything that involves people — and be honest with leaders when the problem is them.
What you will do
- Partner with leaders on organisation design, capability and workforce planning
- Coach managers on performance, development and difficult conversations
- Support employee relations matters fairly and thoroughly
- Drive engagement, retention and inclusion initiatives with real actions
- Use people data to identify problems before they become resignations
What success looks like at 12 months
Managers seek you out early, retention and engagement in your area are improving, and employee relations matters are handled fairly and quickly.
What we require
- HR business partnering experience, ideally in a manufacturing or scientific environment
- Sound employee relations judgement
- Ability to challenge leaders constructively
- Comfort with data and workforce metrics
What we would like, but will teach you
- Shift-based or 24/7 site experience
- Organisational change experience
- Experience supporting a rapidly growing site

Pay and rewards
This role sits at grade 9, with a base range of $120,500 – $155,500 for this location, plus annual bonus, retirement contributions of up to 9%, and day-one benefits. See the full package.
