The role
You will investigate what went wrong and find out why — properly, not conveniently.
What you will do
- Lead deviation and non-conformance investigations to true root cause
- Apply structured problem-solving tools and gather real evidence
- Assess product impact in partnership with technical and quality colleagues
- Define and track effective corrective and preventive actions
- Write investigation reports that will be read by regulators years from now
What success looks like at 12 months
Your investigations close on time with causes that survive challenge, repeat deviations in your areas are reducing, and an inspector has read your work without a finding.
What we require
- Experience investigating problems in a regulated or technical environment
- Structured root cause analysis capability
- Excellent written English — this role is mostly writing
- Persistence in the face of convenient explanations
What we would like, but will teach you
- GMP deviation investigation experience
- Six Sigma or equivalent problem-solving qualification
- Military accident, safety or quality investigation background
If you meet the required list, apply. We cap the preferred list at four items on purpose, and we would rather read an application from someone who is 70% there and hungry.
Military safety, accident and quality investigation experience transfers directly.
