The role
You will cost what we make — the standards, variances and inventory valuation behind a manufacturing site's numbers.
What you will do
- Maintain standard costs, BOMs and routings for manufactured products
- Analyse and explain manufacturing variances
- Support inventory valuation, reserves and cycle count reconciliation
- Partner with operations on cost improvement opportunities
- Support month-end close for the site
What success looks like at 12 months
Standards reflect reality, variances are explained rather than reported, and operations leaders use your cost analysis to make decisions.
What we require
- Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong ERP and Excel skills
- Understanding of inventory and variance mechanics
- Willingness to spend time on the plant floor understanding the process
What we would like, but will teach you
- Pharmaceutical or biologics costing
- SAP experience
- Continuous improvement exposure
If you meet the required list, apply. We cap the preferred list at four items on purpose, and we would rather read an application from someone who is 70% there and hungry.
