The role
You will protect product through the cold chain — the packaging, the lanes, the data loggers and the excursions.
What you will do
- Manage cold chain packaging qualification and shipping lane validation
- Monitor temperature data and investigate excursions
- Coordinate with carriers and 3PLs on performance and issues
- Maintain cold chain documentation and regulatory compliance
- Drive improvement in cost, carbon and excursion rate
What success looks like at 12 months
Excursion rate is down, every excursion has a closed investigation, and lane performance is measured rather than assumed.
What we require
- Logistics or distribution experience, ideally temperature-controlled
- Comfort analysing temperature and transit data
- Attention to detail on documentation
- Onsite role with occasional out-of-hours response
What we would like, but will teach you
- Pharmaceutical cold chain experience
- GDP knowledge
- Military or medical logistics background
If you meet the required list, apply. We cap the preferred list at four items on purpose, and we would rather read an application from someone who is 70% there and hungry.
Military and medical logistics backgrounds fit this role well.
