The role
You will own measurement accuracy across the site — if an instrument says 37.0, you are the reason we believe it.
What you will do
- Perform calibration of process, laboratory and utility instrumentation
- Maintain calibration schedules, standards traceability and records
- Investigate out-of-tolerance events and assess product impact with quality
- Support new instrument installation and qualification
- Maintain the calibration programme in the CMMS
What success looks like at 12 months
Nothing on site is overdue for calibration, out-of-tolerance investigations are closed with real impact assessments, and the programme survives audit without findings.
What we require
- Calibration, metrology or instrumentation experience
- Understanding of measurement traceability and tolerance
- Meticulous record keeping
- Onsite role at an operating site
What we would like, but will teach you
- GMP calibration experience
- Military biomedical equipment or test-and-measurement background
- Instrumentation qualification
If you meet the required list, apply. We cap the preferred list at four items on purpose, and we would rather read an application from someone who is 70% there and hungry.
Military biomedical equipment and test-and-measurement backgrounds are a direct fit.
Onsite at Bloomington, IN. Site-based office roles are onsite three days a week; lab, plant and quality roles are onsite by nature.
